Chinese New Year is a time of celebration and renewal, a time to gather with family and friends, reminiscing on the past and looking forward to a brighter future. Chinese fashion from the 50’s to 90’s was the name of the game for Mechanist Games’ New Year’s Celebration. The staff certainly delivered on the theme – on display: a motley crew of characters garbed in clothes from all over China.

In appreciation of the staff’s hard work, a smorgasbord of New Year’s themed dishes were readied. In addition, libations of all types were offered to our thirsty staff as well as scrumptious deserts for anybody with a sweet tooth. Live singers and rows of red packets with surprises inside accompanied the staff wined and dined the night away.

The wine came in handy, as new staff members were put on spot to put on a talent show. All kinds of stage acts spiced up the festivities – and to top it all off, a special red packet was shared in the group chat.

At the end of the night a lucky draw was held with a ton of surprising gifts! Everyone walked away satisfied with their winnings.
